Suggested Ultralight Arrival Procedures

  • Runway 7-25 is closed by NOTAM from Thursday evening until Monday morning
  • Grass runway 7-25 (2500 feet) is available for ultralights, antiques, and gliders
  • Sunday, between 1 and 2 PM, the airport will be closed by NOTAM for the airshow

The initial point is a warehouse south of Route 58 west of Suffolk at 800 feet.

  Fly on a heading of 100 degrees toward the end of the freeway north of SFQ at an altitude of 800 feet.

  Keep a single file with other ultra lights, descending to 500 feet. At the end of the freeway, US 13 Bypass, make an entry for right traffic to grass runway 25 and left traffic to grass runway 7.
 

Runways 7 - 25 will be closed during the fly-in.
